Xiaomi 14 confirmed to launch in India: Expected specs, price and everything we know so far

Xiaomi has officially announced that their flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14, will be released in India on March 7. The phone was first released in China in October 2020 and will have a global launch event on February 25.

The Xiaomi 14 series consists of three smartphones: Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. It is speculated that only the vanilla variant of the series will be released in India, based on a confirmation image shared by Xiaomi India. The Chinese version of the Xiaomi 14 has a 6.36-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Xiaomi India has not yet revealed any information about the specifications or pricing of the Xiaomi 14.

The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup, co-engineered with Leica, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and Leica Summilux optical lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. It also has a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phone has a 4610 mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It is available in China in 4 colors: Jade Green, Black, White, and Snow Mountain Pink.

The Xiaomi 14 is expected to be priced in India at around ₹50,000 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and up to ₹60,000 for the top variant. This is based on the Chinese launch prices, which ranged from CNY 3,999 to CNY 4,999.
